Prof. Al Jupri Appointed as Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of FPMIPA UPI for the 2025-2029 Period

The Mathematics Education Program and Mathematics Program of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) extend their congratulations on the appointment of Prof. Al Jupri, S.Pd., M.Sc., Ph.D., as the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Education (FPMIPA) UPI for the 2025-2029 period. This appointment is expected to bring innovation and enhance the quality of academic affairs at FPMIPA UPI, as well as drive the advancement of mathematics education in Indonesia. May he be granted success in carrying out this responsibility and continue to contribute to shaping future generations who are excellent and highly competitive.

Prof. Al Jupri was born in Serang on May 10, 1982. He completed his undergraduate education at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia in 2004, then earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree from Utrecht University, the Netherlands, in 2008. In 2015, he obtained a Ph.D. from the same university. Since 2005, he has been actively teaching at the Department of Mathematics Education, FPMIPA UPI, with a focus on Algebra Education. Additionally, he previously served as the Head of the Mathematics Education Program at UPI, where he played a significant role in curriculum development and improving academic quality within the program.

Throughout his career, Prof. Al Jupri has made significant contributions to research and academic publications, particularly in the fields of Realistic Mathematics Education and Algebra Education. He has also actively participated in various national and international conferences and seminars, as well as in the development of mathematics education curricula. On November 13, 2024, he was inaugurated as a Professor in the field of Algebra Education. With his experience and dedication, he is expected to bring positive changes to the academic development of FPMIPA UPI and inspire students and colleagues in the academic community.
