Biology Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, was established on September 1, 1998, with Decree No. 181/DIKTI/Kep/1998, with excellent accreditation status and international accreditation from AQAS. Graduates of the Biology Study Program can work as academics, practitioners in industry, and entrepreneurs with the following competencies:
- Demonstrating scientific, educational, and religious attitudes and behaviors based on academic norms and ethics;
- Mastering the concepts, principles, theories, laws, and processes of biology and their applications to support professions in the field of biology;
