HIAZEE CHOSEN AS ONE OF THE 20 BEST PRODUCT-BASED CAPSTONE PROJECTS IN THE BANGKIT ACADEMY 2023 BATCH 1 PROGRAM

Three months ago, a student from the Computer Science program received an award for a final project that they completed with their team. The project is called Hiazee, an e-commerce development application that focuses on ornamental plants in Indonesia. The purpose of creating this application is to support the potential of the ornamental plant industry in Indonesia and address the challenges faced by this industry.

The student, Muhammad Zakaria Saputra, specialized in Machine Learning, D’Riski Maulana specialized in Cloud Computing, and Novaldi Sandi Ago specialized in Mobile Development.

They were part of the Bangkit Academy 2023 Batch 1 program, which is an Independent Study Program under the “Kampus Merdeka” initiative. This program is supported by Google Indonesia, Tokopedia, Gojek, and Traveloka. Hiazee has been awarded an incubation fund of $10,000 to bring their project to life as the next startup. In addition to funding, they will receive guidance from two industry experts in technology and business, as well as a mentor.
