Workshop and Training Activity at FABLAB FPMIPA UPI
The Fabrication Lab (Fablab) training and workshop at FPMIPA UPI took place on February 13, 2024, attended by undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students, with a focus on the chemistry education program. The event commenced with an opening address by Prof. Dr. Nahadi, M. Pd., M. Sc., as the Vice Dean 2 of FPMIPA UPI, followed by Tuszie Widhiyanti, Ph.D., as the Secretary of the Chemistry Education Program. The activities were introduced by Muhammad Nurul Hana, M. Pd., who provided an explanation of the tools and instruments available in the Fablab.
Throughout the event, participants were introduced to various tools and instruments available in the Fablab, including 3D printers, laser cutting machines, sublimation printers, and 3D scanners. Each of these tools has unique uses and operations, and participants focused on understanding how these tools work. The presentations and practical sessions aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of technology and how it can be utilized in the context of chemistry education.
