Supporting Young Leaders with the Australia Awards Indonesia Nusantara Scholarship

Australia Awards Indonesia has announced the launch of Ten Australia Awards Indonesia Nusantara Scholarships, an initiative aimed at supporting and developing Indonesian future leaders who have a vision for the progress of the country’s new capital, Nusantara. This scholarship is specifically designed for individuals who have a strong aspiration to contribute to knowledge exchange in key areas relevant to the development of Nusantara.

The scholarship offers a golden opportunity for ten young Indonesian leaders to pursue full-time master’s studies at Monash University, Indonesia, which will commence in September 2024. With a program focusing on leadership development, knowledge, and practical skills, scholarship recipients will be well prepared to become effective agents of change in building an inclusive and sustainable future for Nusantara.

The scholarship is open to all eligible Indonesian citizens, regardless of their social or economic backgrounds. Furthermore, the program also provides special support for the Equity Target Groups, aimed at addressing access barriers that potential candidates from underrepresented backgrounds may face, thus reflecting Australia and Indonesia’s commitment to equitable and inclusive development.
