Bandung, Indonesia — September 24, 2025 – The Faculty of Mathematics and Science Education (FPMIPA) at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) has reaffirmed its commitment to institutional excellence through the signing of a Performance Agreement between the Dean and key academic leaders, including Vice Deans, Heads of Study Programs, and Section Heads. The ceremony took place on Wednesday at 10:00 AM in the Auditorium on the 2nd floor of the FPMIPA A Building, with faculty executives and department representatives in attendance.
The signing marks a strategic initiative to align the faculty’s operational objectives with the university’s broader vision and mission. Serving as a key governance tool, the Performance Agreement aims to ensure cohesive leadership at all levels while promoting a results-oriented culture grounded in transparency, accountability, and institutional integrity.
In his opening address, Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Adi Rahmat, M.Si., Dean of FPMIPA, emphasized that the agreement represents more than just a formal procedure. “It reflects our shared commitment to building a collaborative, productive, and sustainable academic environment,” he stated. He further urged all faculty leaders to utilize the agreement as a guiding framework for program planning, unit optimization, and interdisciplinary collaboration in pursuit of university-wide performance targets.
