Bandung, April 2025 — The Directorate of Research, Technology, and Community Service (DRTPM) of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology officially opened the Acceptance of Research and Community Service Program Proposals for the 2025 Fiscal Year via the BIMA website (https://bima.kemdikbud.go.id).
Following up on the Letter of the Director of Research and Community Service, Directorate General of Research and Development, Ministry of Education and Culture Number 0178/C3/DT.05.00/2025 dated March 24, 2025 concerning the Extension of Proposal Acceptance, and Letter Number 0193/C3/DT.05.00/2025 dated March 27, 2025 concerning the Addition of Postgraduate Research Schemes within the scope of Basic Research. The additional scheme offered in this year’s program is the Master’s Thesis Research Scheme (PTM). This scheme is intended for supervising lecturers of Masters (S2) program students who are preparing their theses, with the main objective of supporting the quality of postgraduate student research through structured and facilitated intensive guidance.
Through the PTM grant program, supervising lecturers can propose research proposals that are directly related to the thesis topics of their supervised students. This program not only encourages synergy between academic and research activities, but also serves as a means to strengthen the research culture in higher education environments.
Proposal acceptance is carried out online through the BIMA system. Lecturers and researchers are advised to immediately prepare proposal documents in accordance with the technical guidelines and schedules set by the DRTPM.
