THE FPMIPA UPI STUDENT BECOMES ONE OF THE PARTICIPANTS IN THE CROSS-CULTURAL MINI CONCERT IN MALAYSIA
On June 3, 2023, the Mini Concert: Cross-Cultural event between Indonesia and Malaysia was held on the main stage of the Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair (PBAKL). On this occasion, the Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) was chosen as one of the universities to showcase a performance by the Sunan Ambu Cultural Dance Group.
One of the FPMIPA students participated in this event along with the student activity unit (UKM) Kabumi. The student’s name is Zahra Syafira Khoirunnisa from the Biology Education Study Program. Zahra mentioned that this activity was her first experience as one of the university and country representatives. She gained many valuable experiences, learning the meaning of a process.
The performance she presented was an angklung performance lasting 20 minutes as a contribution from Kabumi. The performance captivated the audience and attendees. In addition to mesmerizing the visitors, this performance aimed to introduce one of the artistic works owned by Indonesia.
Congratulations to Zahra and her colleagues from Kabumi, who delivered an extraordinary performance on the international stage. Hopefully, this can serve as an inspiration for other students to continue creating.
