Bandung – The Student Executive Board (BEM) Himatika “Identika” UPI officially opened the ASIMTOT 2025 (Art and Sport in Mathematics Tournament) activities on Saturday, October 18, 2025, held at the JICA Building, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Education (FPMIPA), Indonesia University of Education (UPI).
ASIMTOT is an annual event that serves as a platform to channel the interests and talents of students from the Mathematics Education and Mathematics Study Programs in the fields of art and sports. This activity is attended by four active cohorts, as well as involving alumni and the academic community.
The opening ceremony was festive with a class parade, speeches from representatives of lecturers and the committee, as well as a musical drama performance. A warm and spirited atmosphere was felt from the very start of the event, marking the beginning of a series of competitions that will be held over the coming weeks.
In addition to being a means of channeling talent, ASIMTOT is also expected to strengthen relationships between cohorts, enhance collaboration between students and alumni, and foster a sense of togetherness within the Mathematics Education and Mathematics Study Programs at FPMIPA UPI.
