Biology Education 2019 students win Gold, Silver, and Bronze Award at International Innovation Competition in Education 2023

The International Innovation Competition in Education (IICE) is a competition that aims to allow educators and students to showcase their innovations in teaching and learning and to gain access to the latest developments at all levels of learning. The competition also aims to inspire researchers to continue to innovate and modernize educational experiences for young adults and students. This year’s theme is “STEAM Education for an Innovative Society”. IICE 2023 was held virtually on September 26, 2023.

The following are the achievements of Biology Education 2019 students at IICE 2023:

• Gold Award with the title “Waste to Energy Project: Engaging Students to Improve SDGs 7 Affordable and Clean Energy” by Team 201 consisting of Baharudin Yusuf Haqiqi, Nur Ilmiah Sakinah, Nabila Tazkiyyatul Afifah, Rosyi Rahmawati, Fakhran Rojali Daulay.
• Gold Award with the title “Greywater Recycle Project: Way to Provide Clean Water For Daily Life” by Team 200 consisting of Aini Septiana, Nur Ilmiah Sakinah, Rosy Rahmawati, Cicilia Tiara, Baharudin Yusuf Haqiqi.
• Silver Award with the title “Light To Preserve Project: A Way to Engage Students to SDGs 2 (Zero Hunger)” by Team 182 consisting of Cicilia Tiara, Nabila Tazkiyyatul Afifah, Fakhran Rozali Daulay, Muhammad Syamsudin Umar, Aini Septiana.
• Bronze Award with the title “Rainwater Processing Project for Engaging Students to Goal 6 SDGs: Clean Water and Sanitation” by Team 181 consisting of Muhammad Syamsudin Umar, Nabila Tazkiyyatul Afifah, Nur Ilmiah Sakinah, Cicilia Tiara, Aini Septiana.
