Stepping Towards the Peak of Creativity with the Student Creativity Program (PKM) 2024

The Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology, through the Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs, has successfully held the Student Creativity Program (PKM) in 2024. This program is a concrete step in fostering innovation and creativity among students throughout Indonesia.

PKM is implemented as one of the forms of the Tridharma of Higher Education initiated by the Directorate General of Higher Education and Research Technology in 2024. Managed by the Independent Service Agency of Higher Education (Belmawa), this program aims to accommodate and realize creative and innovative ideas from students, which are expected to have a positive impact on improving student achievements and enhancing the ranking of Higher Education Institutions in the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology rankings.

To reach the National level, students must go through a series of PKM stages at the University level, which include:

• February 2, 2024: Socialization of the UPI PKM System and the PKM 2024 Guidelines.
• February 3 - 11, 2024: Selection of PKM Proposal at the Faculty and UPI Campus level in the Regions.
• February 11 - 12, 2024: Uploading PKM Proposals to the UPI PKM System.
• February 13 - 20, 2024: Assessment of PKM Proposals by National Reviewers.
• February 21 - 22, 2024: Announcement of Proposals that pass to the national level and adjustments by reviewers, especially titles if any need to be changed.
• February 22 - 23, 2024 at 23.59: Registration of Proposal Titles that pass the selection and upload the internal selection minutes on the simbelmawa account by the Ditmawa Operator.
• February 23 - 29, 2024: Uploading Proposals by Students in the Belmawa System.
• March 1 - 3, 2024: Validation of Proposals in the System by Supervising Lecturers and University Leaders.
