MSCEIS 2023: Trends and Insights in Mathematics, Computer, and Science Education Research to Support SDGs
On October 21, 2023, the peak event of MSCEIS took place at the Aryaduta Hotel in Bandung, West Java. It was attended by various speakers, deputy deans, faculty members, and conference participants, both in-person and online. The event was themed “Trends and Insights in Mathematics, Computer, and Science Education Research to Support SDGs.” This conference provided an excellent opportunity for academics, scientists, researchers, policymakers, and other stakeholders to come together and exchange ideas, strategies, and innovative solutions for educating sustainable development.
“We believe that this conference will be a successful scholarly gathering and will provide a better platform for all participants to engage in meaningful conversations and share research ideas and enlightening experiences, contributing to global efforts in creating a more sustainable future. We encourage all of you to actively participate in this event and join the world’s efforts to create a sustainable future,” expressed Prof. Fitri Khoerunnisa, Ph.D., the executive chair of MSCEIS 2023.
Among the speakers were:
- Prof. Alan Reid, with the topic “Education for the Sustainable Development Goals: Principles, Practices, and Prospects.”
- Dr. Shah Nazir, with the topic “Unveiling Software Birthmark Design and Estimation: Advancing Piracy Detection and Prevention.”
- Prof. Dr. Kristof Fenyvesy, with the topic “Achieving Sustainable Development Goals through STEAM Education.”
- Prof. Ir. Ts Dr. Pau-Loke Show, with the topic “Latest Development in Microalgae Biorefinery.”
Following the conference, there were hybrid Parallel Sessions with various topics and speakers in each session.
