A joint seminar between Hiroshima University, Japan, and Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia was held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the Large Conference Room, IDEC Building, Hiroshima University.
Speaker in the seminar are Prof Takuya Baba, Ph.D. ( Hiroshima univ), Prof. Dr. Dadang Juandi (UPI), Prof. Satoshi KUSAKA, Ph.D. ( Naruto univ of Education), Prof. Hiroto FUKUDA, Ph.D. (Okayama univ s science), Prof. Masato KOSAKA, Ph.D ( University of FUKUI), and Dhanachat Anuniwat as a seminar moderator.
Prof. Takuya Baba, Ph.D., from Hiroshima University, presented a lecture titled “A New Approach for Mathematics Education in Developing Countries.” Meanwhile, the speaker from UPI, Prof. Dr. Dadang Juandi, delivered a presentation titled “The Open-Ended Approach in Indonesia: A Decade of Evidence on Critical Thinking.”
This joint seminar served as one of the collaborative activities in the field of Mathematics Education Research.
