THE SHARING SESSION WITH PROF. DR. ENG. ASEP BAYU DANI NANDIYANTO, S.T., M.ENG, FOR INDONESIAN STUDENTS AT HIROSHIMA UNIVERSITY
It was a sharing session with Prof. Dr. Eng. Asep Bayu Dani Nandiyanto, S.T., M.Eng, who is currently the youngest professor in the field of particle technology from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI). He is an alumnus of Hiroshima University’s Master’s and Doctoral programs and is currently serving as a visiting professor, conducting research with Indonesian students. He was invited as a guest speaker by one of the doctoral students.
During the session, Prof. Asep shared his experiences and discussed how to thrive both academically and non-academically. He took the time to meet with students and extensively discussed the techniques and steps to be taken after graduation, especially for returning to Indonesia to publish scientific works.
The session provided valuable insights on how to navigate the academic world and succeed in research endeavors. Prof. Asep’s presence and guidance served as an inspiration for the students, encouraging them to pursue their academic and research aspirations with determination and dedication. The exchange of knowledge and experiences has undoubtedly benefited the Indonesian students studying at Hiroshima University, and they have gained valuable lessons on how to make a positive impact in their academic and professional journeys.
